The International Cinematographers Guild, IATSE Local 669 has partnered with International Colourist Academy (ICA) co-founder, Warren Eagles, to bring you Colourist Workshops offered for the first time in Canada!

Presentation & Panel Discussions:

Warren Eagles discusses what can be achieved with Live Grade vs. Resolve.
In the afternoon, there will be a panel discussion with Warren, Director of Photography, Craig Wrobleski, csc, DIT, Ryan McGregor, Senior Dailies Colourist, Frank Robinson.

ICA offers Colourist Workshops in New York, LA, Singapore, Munich, and London, and for the first time ever, will be offering these workshops in Canada through Local 669! This is a unique opportunity that you won’t want to miss.

Craig Wrobleski, csc: In his 27 years behind the camera, Craig Wrobleski csc has had the opportunity to photograph projects of most every description.  After getting his start as a cinematographer shooting documentaries, sports and corporate films, Craig transitioned into music video and commercial work before taking on 

Second Unit Director of Photography duties on features and television movies.  The last step in his evolution was stepping up to main unit Directory of Photography on  features, TV movies and, most recently, television series.  Craig’s recent credits include three of the iconic Heritage Minute television commercials,  the award-winning KD Lang ballet film Balletlujah,  more than 100 episodes of the hit CBC series Heartland and season 2 of the acclaimed FX series Fargo.  He is currently serving as one of two DP’s on the series Zoo for CBS.  Craig is the recipient of a CSC Award and has been nominated twice at the CSC Awards in addition to his 14 Alberta Film and Television Award wins.

Frank Robinson: Frank is a skilled Colorist who is devoted to creating images which are truly “picture-perfect”!

Frank has a degree in Mass Communications and he began his TV/Film Career at Crawford Communications. His career pathway has led to many cities, including Moscow, Montreal and Seattle.

Some of his recent and acclaimed projects include the feature “The Advantage”, the series “Bates Motel” and “The Returned”, and the pilot for “The Advocate”. He’s also done plenty of prestigious commercial work for IKEA, NIKE and other blue-chip companies.

When he isn’t making images “pop”, Frank enjoys watching football, loves riding motorcycles, and hopes to do a coast-to-coast road trip one day.

Ryan McGregor: Ryan has been a Digital Imaging Technician with IATSE 669 and 600 for the past 6 years working on feature films and TV series. He specializes in live grading with the cinematographer on set and same day dailies. 

His recent credits include Fargo the series, Hyena Road which shot in the Middle East, A Dog's Purpose and Marvel's upcoming series Legion.
