Women in Film & Television Vancouver (WIFTV) hosts Martini Madness, its annual fundraising party and silent auction, on October 5th at Library Square Public House, located at 300 West Georgia Street. Doors open at 7pm with a red carpet for photos from 7pm to 8pm.

In honour of the ongoing gender equity movement across the globe, this year's theme is suffragettes. Come dressed in 1900s-era attire or suffragette colours: white, purple, or green.

Martini Madness will include a "Make Your Movie Silent Auction," offering items that will support filmmakers who are in the process of bringing their project to the screen, including a camera package from Clairmont Camera and sound mixing from Sharpe Sound.  

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

The recipient of the WIFTV Whistler Film Festival Mentorship will also be announced at the event.
