Emily Carr University & IN IT VIRTUAL REALITY AND ISEA Present: In It: A Virtual Reality Showcase

The week long showcase highlights virtual reality work created by local and international artist practitioners coinciding with other VR events on Granville Island. The presentations at Emily Carr are presented in partnership with ISEA (International Symposium on Electronic Art) and Emily Carr will host ISEA's closing reception on Sunday, August 23.

"Why Unions Still Matter" is an informative presentation developed in conjunction with McMaster University School of Labour Studies and IATSE which aims to illustrate that strong unions are an essential component of a strong and stable economy. Digital Days 2015

Building on the success of preceding Digital Days events, the International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE 669), IATSE 891 and the Directors Guild of Canada BC will be hosting Digital Days 2015. This industry-wide gathering offers the BC film community a rare opportunity to come together for two days of learning and networking around creative, technical and business issues arising with new digital technologies.
