Film Training Manitoba (FTM) is pleased to present this two-day workshop for individuals interested in learning about professional lighting techniques in the film and television industry. Through a series of hands-on, practical exercises, participants will learn about various professional lighting techniques and trends in the industry.
Filmmaker John Paizs will supervise and coach each participant throughout this hands-on workshop. From learning how to visualize a scene well before you step behind the camera, to filming your scene under expert guidance, to screening your assembled footage with a critical eye – this intensive workshop is designed to help better prepare you for shooting your next project.
Building on the success of preceding Digital Days events, the International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE 669), IATSE 891 and the Directors Guild of Canada BC will be hosting Digital Days 2015. This industry-wide gathering offers the BC film community a rare opportunity to come together for two days of learning and networking around creative, technical and business issues arising with new digital technologies.
