Developed in partnership between Creative BC, MPPIA, and industry labour organizations, the Motion Picture Industry Orientation course is a comprehensive, mandatory course that provides you with the information you need to know before working on a film set.
Langara College offers a 16 week Full-Time program Monday-Friday, and a Part-Time program on evenings and weekends.
Entry dates for the next courses are May, September, and January with 9 students per intake.

Narrative for Movies and Television | “Fix it in script or fix it in post”

Narrative for Movies and Television is a full-day seminar that addresses the two biggest reasons some productions fail at a structural level.
Prerequisites: Knowledge of manual exposure on cameras is required.
Materials: While we provide cameras to use in class, we suggest to bring your own camera if you have one.
